Theet Cleaning In Guadalajara
Dental cleaning is one of the most important steps in maintaining a healthy, confident smile. Even with proper brushing and flossing, plaque and bacteria naturally accumulate in hard-to-reach areas. Over time, this buildup can harden into tartar, leading to cavities, gum disease, bad breath, and long-term oral health complications.
Professional dental cleaning is designed to safely remove these deposits, protect your teeth and gums, and keep your smile looking its best.
Regarding the deep cleaning, a physical examination is necessary to determine the extent of the treatment needed.
• General cleaning: $1,200 MXN (full mouth)
• General cleaning with AirFlow: $1,800 MXN (full mouth)
• Deep cleaning: $2,500 MXN (per quadrant)
• Scaling and root planing: $4,000 MXN (per quadrant)
Routine cleanings are not only cosmetic they are essential for prevention. By removing plaque, tartar, and bacteria, dental cleanings help:
Prevent gum disease and inflammation
Reduce the risk of cavities
Eliminate surface stains
Maintain fresh breath
Support long-term oral health
A clean smile is a healthy smile and prevention is always the best treatment.
A traditional cleaning uses ultrasonic tools to chip away hard tartar (calculus). In contrast, the AirFlow system uses a controlled stream of air, warm water, and fine erythritol powder. While ultrasound is essential for removing hard deposits, AirFlow is superior at removing surface stains (coffee, tobacco, wine) and the biofilm (bacterial plaque) in hard-to-reach areas, doing so much more gently.
Does the AirFlow treatment hurt?
Not at all! In fact, it is significantly more comfortable than traditional cleaning. Because there is no direct contact between metal instruments and the teeth, and since we use temperature-regulated water, tooth sensitivity is drastically reduced. It is the perfect option for patients with sensitive gums or dental anxiety.
For most patients, we recommend a professional hygiene session every 6 months. However, if you are prone to heavy tartar buildup, are a smoker, or have a history of periodontal disease, our team at ProClinic Dental might suggest a visit every 4 months to keep your oral health in peak condition.
Does AirFlow whiten my teeth?
While it is not a chemical whitening treatment, the results can be quite similar. By efficiently removing all extrinsic stains and restoring the natural shine of your enamel, your teeth will look noticeably brighter and cleaner immediately after the session. Think of it as a "high-definition polish" for your smile.
Absolutely! AirFlow is actually the best technology for patients with orthodontic brackets or implants. The spray reaches into every nook and cranny around braces and crowns where a normal toothbrush cannot, cleaning thoroughly without scratching metal surfaces or irritating the soft tissues.
